Adult Ministries

We seek to connect people to God and to each other.  We do this as a family does, sharing together and loving each other through all stages of life.  In the midst of these relationships we pursue the maturity of heart and mind, we educate one another to follow Christ fully, and we encourage all to use their gifts in service.

You can find this kind of community in many different places:

Adult Sunday School Classes: We offer short-term topical classes throughout the school year on subjects such as friendship evangelism, apologetics, parenting, the spiritual disciplines, and marriage.

Small Groups: We believe that participation in a small group is vital to the growth of a believer.  To encourage this we have small groups for men, women, and couples.

Men of Bethany (The MOB): The men of Bethany come together regularly for great outings and fun game nights.  The MOB is welcome to all men of college age and up.  Bring a friend!

Women’s Ministry: The women of Bethany gather together on a regular basis for activities such as Harvest Blessings (women’s night out with catered meal, speaker, and fellowship), scrapbooking nights, and a women’s retreat.

Adults of Bethany Church (ABC): ABC gets together for fun activity nights on a bi-monthly basis.  This is a purely social group which is an inviting place for adults new to Bethany to get connected.

Bethany Senior Fellowship: This group of active seniors meets on the 4th Friday night of each month for food, fun, and fellowship.

The Current: Bethany’s college and career group meets two Sunday evenings a month for Bible study.  There are also outings planned throughout the year, including a ski weekend in Big Bear.

Beth Moore Bible Study: Women are invited to join a small group Bible Study. Popular author and speaker, Beth Moore, leads us on exciting journeys through the Bible. Each study is 12 weeks long and consists of small group discussion and a DVD session. Women are encouraged to participate with daily homework assignments and group discussions.

Esther Ladies Bible Study: meets every other Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the Hospitality room.

Men's Life Bible Study: Men's Bible study meets every Tuesday night in the Choir room.

Coffee Break: Women's Bible study meets Wednesday mornings at 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM at Bethany.  Nursery and story hour are provided during the morning session.

LLLL Book Club: Women's group gets together to read and discuss current and past literature.
