9:30 A.M. -  As we consider the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we ask “but what does the Holy Spirit do?” We consider the metaphors used to describe God with us - particularly the metaphor of the Spirit as the water of life. May we open ourselves to the mighty river of God to drive away our fears and fill us with the Lord’s presence.   Join us as Pastor Henry brings the message from Psalm 36:5-9 entitled “The River of Life”.  
6:00 P.M. -  A Citywide Worship and Prayer Service will be held in the Towne Center Plaza (behind Belmont at Bellflower Blvd) @ 5 PM. In harmony with the Global Day of Prayer, we are gathering as the church of Bellflower for an evening of praise and prayer. You may want to take a lawn chair as this service is outdoors. This service will take the place of the evening service here at Bethany.
 CD's of the morning and evening worship are available through the church office for $1.50.
